Abstract
Post stroke cognitive impairment is one of the common complications of stroke, seriously affecting patients ability to perform activities of daily living. This paper presents a review of the neuroprotective mechanism of short-chain fatty acids in stroke, and its relation with post-stroke cognitive impairment, providing evidence for studying the pathogenesis and treatment of stroke.
